Question: I have had reconstruction after being diagnosed with breast cancer and having a double mastectomy. I have implants but did not finish with my reconstruction and one side looks deformed. Was wondering if the implants could be taken out and reconstruction with natural procedures?   Answer: Good morning and thanks for reaching out to us.   Assuming you have adequate donor tissue (most people do), there is a very good chance that we could remove your implants and re-do your reconstruction only with your own natural tissue.
