Using the various flap techniques, they can create full, natural looking breasts with tissue from your own body. Your own tissue can be used to give you a more natural and permanent result.

Our practice specializes in muscle sparing breast reconstruction such as the GAP, PAP, and DIEP flaps.

Whether a breast reconstruction is performed using an implant or the patient’s own tissue, it’s not uncommon for patients to require more than one stage for the best results.Sometimes a patient is unhappy with the result of an implant reconstruction, experiences painful capsular contracture, or develops an implant infection necessitating removal. In most cases, these patients remain a candidate for reconstruction with her own tissue.
