At Furman University, Emily was one of those students who actually enjoyed writing 10-page research papers. She graduated in 2020 with a History Degree and a Minor in Greek and Roman Studies.
As our Content Writer, Emily has researched and written our blog posts and conducted patient interviews for the past 3 years. She has assisted our surgeons with scientific research, writing, publishing, and presentations. Recently, she has also been working on social media content for both East Cooper Plastic Surgery and The Center for Natural Breast Reconstruction. She has worked with our practice since she was in high school.
Emily enjoys developing educational content that is geared towards answering patients’ most frequently asked questions. She also strives to cover important questions most women don’t know to ask about breast reconstruction.
Outside of our practice, Emily enjoys hiking, singing, and teaching Zumba classes. She also recently began officiating middle school volleyball.
FUN FACT: You might catch her dance skills and choreography around town when she’s performing with a local dance troupe.
