A few things that you should know before you proceed viewing the gallery photos.

The choice to undergo breast reconstruction is a personal one and our patients choose where to begin and where to end this process. Whatever the stage, it’s always a life-changing step in term of its tremendous emotional and physical impact.

Some ladies have found they did not tolerate previous attempts at breast reconstruction. They may have severe skin changes after radiation or simply waited an extended period of time before choosing to reconstruct after their mastectomies. Captioned under each set of photos is a brief description of the circumstances of the patient you are viewing. Some are delayed, have chosen not to have nipple reconstruction/tattoo, some are previous implant failures. The “after” photos are taken at various point in healing while others are immediate reconstruction a t the time of mastectomy of which there may be no pre-operative photo to view.
