The Center for Natural Breast Reconstruction is on call, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During office hours, you will speak with a nurse, a physician assistant or, if needed, a doctor. After hours, our answering service provides access to our doctors.
When to be concerned:
Changes in the appearance or size of your reconstructed breast
Fever Over 101 Degrees
Unexplained Leg Pain
Pus, Drainage or Streaks From Your Incision
An Incision Begins to Pull Apart
Inability to Urinate or Have a Bowel Movement
Bloody, Very Dark or “Tarry” Bowel Movements
Coughing Up or Vomiting Blood
Severe, Unexplained or Uncontrollable Pain
Inability to Eat
Increasing Weakness, Inability to Care For Yourself
The Worst Headache You’ve Ever Had
